Overleaf 6.1.0 is available
January 22, 2026We are pleased to announce Overleaf Server Pro 6.1.0! This release includes new features and updates to the base image and installed packages, as well as internal dependencies. You can read the full release notes here.
Important note: This Server Pro release contains the new and improved design of the Overleaf editor, and allows toggling to the old editor design. In the next 6.2.X release, users will only see the new and improved design of the Overleaf editor, and will no longer have the option to revert to the old one. It’s recommended that users familiarize themselves with the new editor to ensure a smooth transition.
We advise customers to upgrade to Server Pro 6.1.0 at their earliest convenience.
